Celery Seeds

Originating from the Mediterranean, used medicinally by ancient Greeks, developed in 16th century in France. The secret to fresh crisp stalks is plenty of manure and water, don't let soil dry out as it has shallow roots. Blanch stalks with mulch or cardboard tubes. Pick individual stems as required. Prefers cool conditions. Stores well at cool temperatures and high humidity. Sow in spring and autumn.
