This Texas heirloom onion matures early and thrives in warmer climates as a short-day variety. It produces large, pale yellow bulbs with a mild, sweet flavour and crisp white flesh. Known since 1944, this onion has low sulphur and high water content, giving it a less pungent taste. It has a short to medium storage life, making it ideal for enjoying fresh.
