Vigorous creeping annual (or bi-annual in warmer areas), produces large bulk of seed, excellent ground cover and legume cover crops. Suited to well drained coastal soils. Brown seeded, white flower, flowering late and over several months in the absence of frost. Pods eaten when young if cooked. From Kenya 1962. Sow after frost.
