Fraises de Bois, wild strawberry. Rujana is a German heirloom alpine strawberry bred in 1920 and one of the first cultivars selected. Bearing large white flowers giving way to an abundant crop of sweet juicy red fruit with a delightful fragrance. The fruit dries well and makes a beautiful jam. Leaves and fruit may be used for herbal tea. Perfect for hanging baskets, containers or as a lovely edging plant in the garden.
