Wheatgrass: 1 cup wheat. Soak seed overnight. Sprouting time 7-10 days. Tray, container or basket can be used to sow seed, keep moist (seed may rot if over watered). Sprout length 10-15cm. You can cut sprouts just above soil level, remembering that you can re-harvest 2-3 times. Wheatgrass can be cut fresh when needed.
Sprouting: 1/2 cup makes approximately 1 1/2 cups of sprouts. Sprouting time 10-14 days. Jar or sprouter can be used. When using jar cover mouth of jar with porous material secured with a rubber band. Soak overnight then rinse and drain, continuing this cycle until harvest. To minimize spoilage remove hulls by skimming off the top with a spoon. Sprout length 5-10cm. Sprouts can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
